Baltimore Comic Con!

I’m

I’m off to Baltimore Comic Con this Friday, September 22-Sunday, September 24, where I will be on a panel called “How I Broke Into Comics,” moderated by DC publisher Dan DiDio. I’ll also be at table 2502, so if you’re at the con, come on by and ask me about Mystik U, Cadaver & Queen, Future Echoes and Liminal Comics. And yes, you can also ask me Neil Norse Gods questions.

The Romance Writers of America National Convention

Attended the RWA’s con in Orlando, Florida this July, where I attended workshops, bonded with old friends and made some new ones, and danced like a lunatic at two different parties (at one point, I think I may have crawled across the dance floor like Madonna at the 1984 MTV Music Video awards. Did I mention there was an open bar?) Among the new friends I made: Farah Heron, Suzanne Brockmann (have been a fan for years but we’ve never actually sat down and talked before) and Summer Heacock, all of whom get quoted in this piece I did for The Mary Sue: https://www.themarysue.com/romance-writers-of-america-convention/

MoCCA

I’m very excited to be attending MoCCA in Manhattan this year (April 1 and 2). I’ll be wearing my editorial hat and representing Liminal Comics, along with my amazing assistant editor Maggie Vicknair. Come check out our soon-to-be-released first comic, Future Echoes by Al Davison and Yen Quach. https://www.societyillustrators.org/mocca-arts-festival.
